Lake George Charter School provides a small, safe, and nurturing environment. We honor traditional and creative educational learning styles. We provide strong music, art, and fitness programs. Our school supports family involvement. We are surrounded by lakes, mountains, and forests which inspire and enhance the learning atmosphere for our students.

Our Goals

Our goal is that every student attain their optimal potential:

  • Successful academic achievement;

  • Problem solving, decision making, time management skills;

  • The ability to evaluate the quality of their own work;

  • Self-discipline and a respect for self and the diversity of others.

Our Student Population

Lake George Charter School is located along Highway 24 in Lake George, Colorado. We are about an hour West of Colorado Springs. We serve students from both Teller and Park Counties

Lions Pride PTO

One of our greatest assets at Lake George Charter School is the involvement of our parents and the local community. Our parent organization is called "Lion's Pride," after our mascot, the Lake George Lion.

Lion’s Pride is a fantastic organization supporting our school through a multitude of fundraising activities. Minutes and other announcements are posted on the bulletin board near the front office.
